Morris Brown College Continues Restoration of Historic Fountain Hall

With all of the positive events going on for our historic 140 year old institution, we have made the front cover of the Atlanta VOICE Newspaper.

Very special thanks are extended to Dr. Candy Tate for her determined leadership & dedication to our “Restoration Project for Historic Fountain Hall.” With her leadership, the Friends of Fountain Hall (FOFH) committee has successfully written grants and received over $1.5m for this project to complete this @ $30m renovation task.

The FOFH Committee is working diligently with Dr. Tate and co-chair, Bro. Julian K. Smith, Jr. on this outstanding mission.

“Rise-UP Brownites & Help us RESTORE Fountain Hall!”

We are soliciting all alums, family & friends to visit our website at www.fountainhallatl.org and partner with us in our “Strong Tower Fund-Raising Campaign.”

Please plan to join us on our MBC Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 23rd, to “HEAR” our iconic bell ring again!

Thank You Bro. Stanley Coleman, ’77, for submitting photos and contacting the Atlanta VOICE. We are also appreciative to the “Groove-Master Brass Band” for providing the Big Brass Band Music for our “6th Annual Focus Group Picnic,” honoring our MBCAFG Co-Founder, Alumnus Dr. Charles “Chuck” Mason.
